Gif Game ("we", "our", or "the app") is operated by Super Slop LLC. This policy explains what information we collect when you use Gif Game on the web, iOS, or Android, and how we handle it.
Account data (when you sign in): your email address and a username. We use your email to send a magic-link sign-in code and to sync your account across devices. You may also play as a guest without providing an email.
Gameplay data: your account identifier, display name, avatar, progress (level, XP, donuts, coins), games you play, GIFs you submit in a round, and items you unlock using in-game currency.
Device and usage data: device and browser type, operating system version, approximate region (derived from IP), app version, gameplay interactions, and error and diagnostic information that help us fix crashes.
Analytics: we use PostHog to understand gameplay and report errors where analytics are enabled. Events can be associated with your account identifier, display name, level, account status, and language, including when you play as a guest. Gif Game does not use PostHog session replay or automatic capture of clicks and text input.
We do not sell personal information. We use Amazon Web Services to host the game and store account data, and PostHog for analytics and error reporting. These providers receive the information needed to operate those services.
Other players in a party can see your username, avatar, and the GIFs you submit during a round.
Gif Game uses KLIPY to supply GIF results. Our server sends GIF search terms to KLIPY, and your device requests GIF files from its media servers. These requests expose your device's IP address and ordinary network request information to the media provider.
Gif Game is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We keep account data while your account is active. On iOS, Android, and the standalone web game, open Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account and confirm to delete your account profile, saved progress, sign-in sessions, and associated personal campaign data. This is available for guest and email accounts. On CrazyGames, request deletion by email because account management controls are handled by that platform.
You can also request account or associated data deletion by emailing privacy@superslop.net from the address associated with your account. If you play as a guest, contact us for help identifying your account. We'll process email deletion requests within 30 days, except where records must be retained for legal or fraud-prevention purposes.
Account deletion does not automatically erase previously recorded analytics or operational logs. Minimal records used to prevent duplicate rewards and recreation of erased external identities may remain. Contact us for help with requests concerning these records.
We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and respond quickly to any incident.
If we materially change this policy we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, notify you inside the app.
